A little bit about me.

My name is Reham Ghafarji and I founded my own small business,

Soap & More, in 2020.

I’m originally from Syria and moved to Ireland in 2017, settling in the beautiful West Cork town of Clonakilty, Ireland, with my young family. I studied English literature at university in Damascus.

My husband and I moved to Ireland in search of a better life from a country ravaged by war, in which we lost some loved ones. We hoped for a better life for our young children and so we made the brave decision to uproot our family and start a new life in a new country.

I'm obsessed with organic, natural ingredients and essential oils as I grew up in a family that cared for natural materials for treatment.

My Father is a pharmacist and has his own pharmacy that works on formulating natural products for various skin diseases, and I used to stand and watch him from afar with utmost amazement and interest.

Also my Mother's family have a Huge and Old Aleppo Soap Factory in Aleppo, Syria.

Therefore, proudly say that I'm the third generation of soap making in my family.

In 2017 I came to Ireland as a result of the war in Syria, I started several courses in the field of skin care and beauty in an attempt to find out the interests of Irish women.

I now feel I have everything, my family, a new start in an amazing country and a new business - all of it is a dream come true!

As a Thank You to the Irish people for the warm welcome and constant support my family and I have received since settling in Ireland, I am delighted and proud to donate 15% of all proceeds from my sales to homeless charities as my way of giving something back.

When you shop with Soap & More, it is a gift to you and your skin, and it’s also a gift to others less fortunate.
