A little bit about me.

I am a third-generation soap maker, originally from Syria. Soap making is not just a business for me, it is my heritage, my family history, and part of who I am.

In 2017, because of the war in Syria, I came to Ireland searching for safety and a better life for my children. I had lost members of my family, and like many others, I was forced to leave behind the country I loved. It was not an easy journey, but I carried hope in my heart.

Ireland gave me that hope. The Irish people welcomed me with kindness, compassion, and humanity. They gave me everything I had dreamed of safety, opportunity, and a place to belong. Today, Ireland is my home, and the Irish people are my family.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost my job. It was a difficult time, but it also became a turning point in my life. I decided to follow my passion and return to my roots, my family’s traditional soap-making craft.

There is something magical about creating soap with my own hands. I love visiting Irish local farms to carefully select natural ingredients like honey, beeswax, and fresh goat’s milk. When I step into my studio, I feel positive energy, passion, and love. It is my peaceful place, a place where tradition and creativity come together.

 

Every product I make is crafted with love and great care. Each product carries my Syrian heritage, infused with my deep appreciation for Irish nature. My soaps tell a story, a story of resilience, gratitude, tradition, and new beginnings.
